Originally known as DJ Stylz, Freeze International’s first time on the turntables was at the tender age of six. At this time he discovered crowd control; a unique and indescribable experience. This was when he knew music was his life, better yet, his passion.

Freeze International adopted his father’s DJ name, “DE FREEZE”, after his passing in 2010. Since then Freeze International has become the “soca guy” as he continuously pushes the culture. From the beginning of his musical career, he has projected a genuine care and energy that has spilled over to his patrons. This is shown by his carefully structured events under the secret soca society umbrella, also known as #SSS. A strictly soca event that has contributed to keeping the culture alive. Freeze International believes soca can genuinely make a difference as he recently acquired 10,000 people for his highly anticipated 2022 SSS Blue Jouvert festival; both a humbling and gracious achievement.  

In addition, he takes the TeamSoca radio waves by storm during the Midday Shutdown; Monday-Friday with his engaging antics, and musical selections. Over the years he has developed a sound that draws from various genres that push his musical boundaries to new limits.

Overall Freeze International believes music inspires us to be better, to do better, and to feel better. Music is comfort! It is a language that needs no words. It is a motivator to achieve the goals we set for ourselves.
